Our Team

Patty , our office manager has been working at the Charlottetown Veterinary Clinic since 1998.  She hails from Miramichi, NB graduating from the Eastern Business Computer Institute in 1990.  Patty, her husband Russ and their son Ryan live outside Charlottetown.

Karen , receptionist, began working here in October 2000.  Originally from White Horse, Yukon, she has lived in many parts of Canada before settling in P.E.I.  She has a  son Matt and a golden retriever, Kayla ..  Karen enjoys watching hockey and baseball games especially if her son is playing.  In her spare time she enjoys walking, working out, reading, playing pool and traveling.

Kelly, receptionist, began working at the clinic in the summer of 2008.

Erica, receptionist, began working at the clinic in the  summer of 2008.

Cindy  moved from Springhill, NS, to the Island in 2001 to take a Veterinary Assistant course.  After graduation in the summer of 2005 she started working at the clinic as a veterinary assistant and now works with us on a part time basis. She lives with her boxer Murphy and her 2 cats Simon and Milo.

Danielle, veterinary assistant, originally hails from Newfoundland and has been working with us since the winter 2008.

Sarah  has been working as a veterinary assistant with us since 2004.  She is presently working part time since going back to school to get her BSC.  Her future plans involve going to veterinary school.  She comes to us via Fredericton, NB where she received her BA at St. Thomas.  She moved to P.E.I. with her boyfriend Chris in 2003 and received her diploma as a Veterinary Assistant.  They currently live with their dog “Bruin” and four cats.

Sarah’s hobbies include fostering animals, volunteering for the Cat Action Team and P.E.I. Humane Society.  She also enjoys rock climbing, mountain biking, playing base guitar and hiking.

Dave Pineau has been with the large animal department of the clinic since 1990.  He deals with large animal sales and does the purchasing for the entire clinic.  Dave comes from a successful harness racing family in South Rustico and still lives in the area with his wife Michelle.

Jennifer Doyle is one of the newest member of our clinic team starting her employment in the fall of 2006.   She graduated from the Veterinary Assistant course in Charlottetown.  Jennifer is a sales clerk in the large animal department.  She lives in Earnscliff with her son Colby.

Our groomer Shari , has been working as a full time dog/cat groomer at the clinic since April 2002.  Originally from Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, she has been living on the Island for 16 years.  Shari and her husband Craig live outside Charlottetown with their daughter Jenna, 7 dogs and 2 cats.  She is actively involved with the “Fast n’ Furious” Flyball team.
